INLS 151: Retrieving and Analyzing Information
This course covers search and analytical skills for the information age. Students will become better researchers by learning and applying theories on information retrieval and information need. The lessons on acquiring and evaluating diverse sources are invaluable for both academic and professional work in the twenty-first century.
- There is no required textbook. The readings will be available free through online journals subscribed to by UNC Libraries.
- Students will be required to download several free software tools to use as part of the course.
